Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely, accurate month-end closing and financial reporting to Group management
  • Responsible for preparation and closing of monthly and annual financial statements
  • Responsible for accounting processes and tasks (i.e.: AP & AR process, GL, account reconciliations, sales and costs reconciliations etc.)
  • Support forecasting and budgeting exercise
  • Ensure that monthly account report and records comply with laws and regulations
  • Coordinate and liaise with internal parties to support intercompany activities
  • Coordinate and liaise with external parties like external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents, local tax and government authorities where required
  • Support and ensure compliance with all finance filing requirements, tax filing requirement, audits, procedures and forms both statutory and internal
  • Lead the accounting team of 3 finance executives
  • Other ad hoc duties as assigned

Requirement:

  • Must have a Degree in Accounting or equivalent with 3-4 years’ post-degree experience
  • A self-starter who is able to plan, organise and take initiative to meet job objectives and deadlines independently
  • Proactive, can-do attitude, and passionate about work
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Highly proficient in MS Excel, VBA/Macros would be an advantage
  • Applicant must be working in KLCC area, open to Malaysian only
